Drinkwaters Team

Having grown up on Vancouver Island, Rachelle brings a unique understanding of the importance of community, backed by the knowledge and experience developed in some of BC’s leading casual-fine dining restaurants. Rachelle gained her knowledge of the restaurant industry at a young age. She spent several years working at her family’s restaurant in Parksville, BC, before pursuing an education in performance, film, and public relations. Skills that each proved themselves incredibly transferrable when she soon realised that the hospitality industry was, in fact, where she belonged.

Rachelle’s eye for detail along with her passion for a high standard of service has landed her leading positions at a number of well-respected restaurants throughout BC. Included among these, are; Joe Fortes, downtown Vancouver, and the esteemed Salmon House on the Hill in West Vancouver. Rachelle joins Sproat lake Landing with an in-depth knowledge and appreciation for fine wines and the culinary arts.  She is passionate about the art of cooking and hopes to introduce Port Alberni to a culinary experience above and beyond expectation.

Rachelle is thrilled to be back to her roots on Vancouver Island, and is incredibly excited to be a part of the growth and development of Sproat Lake Landing.  She is excited to continue working alongside the talented and creative culinary team, and the polished and professional guest facing storytellers.
